1. About This Policy

Mushrooms-Australia aims to provide a straightforward and reliable delivery and returns experience for customers throughout Australia.

This Delivery & Returns Policy explains how we process orders, prepare products for dispatch, arrange delivery, handle delivery delays, manage damaged or incorrect orders, and deal with returns, refunds, replacements and other remedies.

All deliveries from Mushrooms-Australia are strictly within Australia.

We do not offer international delivery under this policy.

This policy applies to purchases made through the Mushrooms-Australia website and should be read together with our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies available to consumers under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) or other applicable Australian legislation.

2. Australia-Only Delivery

Mushrooms-Australia currently provides delivery services within Australia only.

2.1 Australian Destinations

We may deliver to eligible addresses throughout Australia, subject to the availability of our delivery services and any applicable restrictions.

This may include eligible residential and business addresses in:

  • New South Wales;
  • Victoria;
  • Queensland;
  • South Australia;
  • Western Australia;
  • Tasmania;
  • Australian Capital Territory; and
  • Northern Territory.

Delivery availability may depend on the destination, courier network, product requirements and applicable laws.

2.2 No International Delivery

We do not currently provide international delivery.

Orders cannot be placed under this policy for destinations outside Australia.

We do not deliver to international destinations, overseas addresses or international freight forwarding arrangements.

Customers should not provide an overseas address when placing an order.

3. Delivery Timeframe

Our standard estimated delivery timeframe is:

24–48 hours.

This is an estimated timeframe rather than an unconditional guarantee.

We aim to process orders efficiently and arrange delivery as promptly as reasonably possible. However, delivery times may vary depending on the destination, courier network, order processing requirements and circumstances outside our reasonable control.

3.1 When the Delivery Period Begins

The estimated delivery period generally begins once an order has been accepted, payment has been successfully processed where applicable, and the order has been prepared for dispatch.

The time required to prepare an order may vary depending on:

  • product availability;
  • order volume;
  • payment verification;
  • address verification;
  • operational requirements; and
  • other circumstances relevant to the order.

4. Delivery Delays

Although we aim to provide delivery within the estimated 24–48-hour timeframe, delays can occasionally occur.

Possible causes include:

  • courier network delays;
  • public holidays;
  • weekends;
  • severe weather;
  • flooding;
  • bushfires;
  • road closures;
  • transport disruptions;
  • incorrect or incomplete addresses;
  • remote-area delivery requirements;
  • high delivery volumes;
  • technical issues;
  • operational disruptions;
  • security checks;
  • events outside our reasonable control; or
  • other circumstances affecting the delivery network.

If we become aware of a significant delay affecting your order, we will endeavour to provide appropriate information where reasonably possible.

5. Delivery Address

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information when placing an order.

Please carefully check:

  • recipient name;
  • street address;
  • unit or apartment number;
  • suburb;
  • state or territory;
  • postcode;
  • business name, where applicable; and
  • any relevant delivery instructions.

An incomplete or incorrect address may result in:

  • delivery delays;
  • unsuccessful delivery;
  • return of the parcel;
  • additional delivery arrangements; or
  • other logistical complications.

If you notice an address error after placing an order, contact us as soon as possible.

Email: support@mushrooms-australiapsychedelics.com

or

Email: Contact@mushrooms-australia.com

We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after an order has been dispatched.

6. Delivery to Residential Addresses

Where residential delivery is available, customers should provide an address where someone can reasonably receive the order if a signature or other delivery requirement applies.

Depending on the delivery provider and circumstances, a parcel may:

  • be delivered directly to the address;
  • require a signature;
  • be left in an appropriate location where permitted;
  • be taken to a collection point; or
  • be subject to another delivery procedure determined by the courier.

Delivery procedures can vary between locations and providers.

7. Business and Commercial Addresses

Customers may provide a business address where delivery to that location is available.

When providing a business address, customers should include:

  • business name;
  • recipient name;
  • street address;
  • unit or building details;
  • suburb;
  • state or territory; and
  • postcode.

Customers should ensure that someone authorised to receive deliveries is available during normal delivery hours where necessary.

Mushrooms-Australia is not responsible for delays resulting solely from a business being closed or a recipient being unavailable, subject to applicable consumer rights.

8. Remote and Regional Australian Areas

Delivery to regional and remote areas may take longer than delivery to metropolitan areas.

Although our standard estimated timeframe is 24–48 hours, regional or remote destinations may be affected by:

  • longer courier routes;
  • limited delivery schedules;
  • transport availability;
  • weather;
  • road conditions;
  • remote-area courier arrangements; and
  • other logistical factors.

Where an order is subject to an unusual delivery delay, we will endeavour to provide reasonable assistance.

9. Delivery Tracking

Where tracking is available for an order, tracking information may be provided to the customer.

Tracking information may allow you to monitor:

  • dispatch status;
  • transit progress;
  • estimated delivery;
  • delivery attempts; and
  • delivery completion.

Tracking information is generally provided by the relevant delivery provider.

Tracking information may not update immediately and should not always be interpreted as a precise real-time location.

10. Delivery Confirmation

Depending on the delivery method, confirmation may be available through the relevant delivery provider.

Delivery confirmation may include:

  • delivery date;
  • delivery time;
  • tracking status;
  • delivery scan;
  • signature information; or
  • other relevant information.

If tracking indicates that an order has been delivered but you have not received it, contact us promptly so that we can assist with investigating the issue.

11. Missing Deliveries

If your order has not arrived within a reasonable period after the expected delivery timeframe, please contact us.

Please provide:

  • your full name;
  • order number;
  • delivery address;
  • date of purchase;
  • tracking number, if available; and
  • details of the issue.

We may contact the relevant delivery provider to investigate the status of the shipment.

Customers should contact us promptly after becoming aware that a delivery may be missing.

12. Incorrect or Incomplete Delivery Address

If an order cannot be delivered because an incorrect or incomplete address was supplied, please contact us as soon as possible.

Where the parcel has not yet been dispatched, we will endeavour to correct the address where reasonably possible.

Once a parcel has entered the delivery network, changes may not always be possible.

If a parcel is returned to us because the address supplied by the customer was incorrect or incomplete, we will contact the customer regarding the available options.

Nothing in this section limits any statutory rights that may apply.

13. Damaged Parcels

We take reasonable care when preparing products for dispatch.

If your parcel appears damaged when it arrives, please inspect the contents as soon as reasonably practical.

If products are damaged, contact us promptly.

Where possible, provide:

  • your order number;
  • photographs of the outer packaging;
  • photographs of the damaged product;
  • details of the damage;
  • the date the parcel was received; and
  • any relevant delivery information.

We may request photographs or other reasonable information to help assess the issue and determine the appropriate remedy.

14. Incorrect Products

If you receive a product that does not correspond with your order, contact us as soon as possible.

Please provide:

  • order number;
  • product ordered;
  • product received;
  • photographs where useful; and
  • details of the issue.

We will investigate the matter and, where appropriate, arrange a suitable remedy.

Depending on the circumstances, this may include:

  • replacement;
  • return;
  • refund; or
  • another remedy required by law.

15. Missing Items

If an order arrives and an item appears to be missing, contact us promptly.

We will review the order and fulfilment records and investigate the issue.

Where an item was incorrectly omitted from an order, we will seek to provide an appropriate solution.

This may include:

  • supplying the missing item;
  • arranging another delivery;
  • providing a refund; or
  • another appropriate remedy.

16. Returns

Mushrooms-Australia accepts returns where required by Australian Consumer Law and may also offer voluntary returns in circumstances described by our policies or individual product terms.

A return may be appropriate where:

  • a product is faulty;
  • a product does not match its description;
  • an incorrect product has been supplied;
  • a product has suffered a relevant failure;
  • a return is otherwise required under Australian law; or
  • Mushrooms-Australia has expressly agreed to accept the return.

Customers should contact us before returning an item wherever possible.

17. Australian Consumer Law

Mushrooms-Australia recognises that Australian consumers have statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

These rights may include consumer guarantees concerning the quality, suitability and description of goods and services.

Nothing in this Delivery & Returns Policy removes or limits those rights.

The ACCC confirms that consumer guarantees apply automatically to many goods and services purchased by consumers and cannot be excluded by a business’s terms and conditions. (accc.gov.au)

18. Major Failures

If a product has a major failure under the Australian Consumer Law, a customer may have the right to choose an appropriate remedy.

Depending on the circumstances, this may include:

  • a refund;
  • a replacement;
  • cancellation of a service;
  • compensation for a reduction in value; or
  • compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

The appropriate remedy will depend on the circumstances and applicable law.

19. Minor Failures

Where a product has a minor failure, the appropriate remedy may include repair or replacement, depending on the circumstances.

If repair or replacement is not provided within a reasonable time, further remedies may become available under the Australian Consumer Law.

We will assess each matter individually.

20. Change-of-Mind Returns

A change of mind is different from a product failure.

Unless a voluntary return arrangement applies, we are not necessarily required to accept a return merely because:

  • you no longer want the product;
  • you ordered the wrong product;
  • you changed your mind;
  • you found the product elsewhere;
  • you selected the wrong size or quantity; or
  • you otherwise no longer require the product.

However, this does not affect any statutory rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

21. Products That Cannot Reasonably Be Returned

Certain products may have specific return or handling requirements because of their nature.

Where a product cannot reasonably be returned due to health, hygiene, safety, contamination, perishability or another legitimate reason, any applicable limitation will not override statutory consumer rights.

Where appropriate, product-specific return requirements will be communicated before or at the time of purchase.

22. Return Approval

Where a return is appropriate, we may provide return instructions.

Customers should not send products to our business address without first contacting us, unless otherwise required by law.

A return request should generally include:

  • customer name;
  • order number;
  • product details;
  • reason for the return;
  • photographs where appropriate; and
  • preferred contact details.

We may need to inspect or assess a product before determining the appropriate remedy, where permitted by law.

23. Return Condition

Where a return is permitted for a reason other than a statutory consumer guarantee, the product may need to be returned in an appropriate condition.

Depending on the product and reason for return, this may include:

  • original packaging;
  • accessories;
  • relevant documentation;
  • proof of purchase; and
  • the product itself.

Where a product is being returned because of a fault, defect or other consumer guarantee issue, customers should not assume that a voluntary return-condition requirement overrides their statutory rights.

24. Return Shipping

The responsibility for return shipping may depend on the reason for the return.

Where a return is required because of a problem for which Mushrooms-Australia is responsible, we will assess the appropriate return arrangements in accordance with applicable law.

For voluntary change-of-mind returns, where such returns are offered, return shipping may be the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise stated.

We will provide appropriate instructions for approved returns.

25. Refunds

Where a refund is approved or legally required, we will generally seek to process it through the original payment method where reasonably possible.

Refund processing time may depend on:

  • payment provider;
  • bank processing times;
  • transaction method;
  • verification requirements; and
  • other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

A refund initiated by Mushrooms-Australia may not appear in your account immediately.

Customers should allow reasonable time for their bank or payment provider to process the transaction.

26. Refund Confirmation

Where a refund is processed, we may provide confirmation by email or another appropriate communication method.

If you believe a refund has not arrived within a reasonable timeframe, contact us with:

  • your order number;
  • refund date, if known;
  • refund amount; and
  • payment method used.

We will endeavour to assist with checking the status.

27. Replacements

Where a replacement is an appropriate remedy, Mushrooms-Australia may arrange replacement of the relevant product.

Replacement availability depends on stock and other relevant circumstances.

If the same product is unavailable, we may discuss an alternative remedy with the customer, subject to the customer’s statutory rights.

28. Refunds for Unavailable Products

If an order cannot be fulfilled because the relevant product is unavailable after payment has been received, we will contact the customer where appropriate.

Depending on the circumstances, we may offer:

  • a replacement product;
  • an alternative product;
  • a refund; or
  • another appropriate option.

Where a refund is required under applicable law, we will process it accordingly.

29. Delivery Errors Caused by Us

If Mushrooms-Australia makes an error resulting in an incorrect product being sent or another fulfilment error, contact us promptly.

We will investigate the issue and seek to correct the error.

Where appropriate, we may arrange:

  • return of the incorrect product;
  • replacement;
  • additional delivery;
  • refund; or
  • another legally appropriate remedy.

30. Delivery Errors Caused by the Customer

Customers should take care when entering delivery details.

Where an issue arises solely because a customer has provided an incorrect or incomplete address, we will assess the circumstances and available options.

Potential outcomes may depend on whether the parcel has:

  • not yet been dispatched;
  • already entered the courier network;
  • been delivered to the supplied address; or
  • been returned to Mushrooms-Australia.

This section does not exclude rights available under Australian law.

31. Order Cancellation Before Dispatch

If you wish to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible.

We will attempt to accommodate cancellation requests received before dispatch where reasonably possible.

However, cancellation may not be possible once an order has entered the fulfilment or delivery process.

If a cancellation cannot be accommodated, customers may still have rights under our returns policy or Australian Consumer Law depending on the circumstances.

32. Order Cancellation After Dispatch

Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation may not be possible through the ordinary order-cancellation process.

If the order has already been dispatched, contact us so that we can advise whether any available options apply.

Where the customer has a statutory right to cancel or obtain another remedy, that right is not removed by this section.

33. Proof of Purchase

We may request reasonable evidence of purchase when assessing a return, refund or replacement.

Proof of purchase may include:

  • order confirmation;
  • invoice;
  • receipt;
  • transaction record;
  • order number;
  • account history; or
  • other reasonable evidence.

Customers should retain their order confirmation or other purchase records where possible.

34. Product Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with a product, please contact us before taking further action where possible.

We want to understand:

  • what happened;
  • which product is affected;
  • when it was purchased;
  • when the problem was noticed;
  • whether the product was used or stored according to supplied instructions; and
  • what outcome you are seeking.

We will review the circumstances and determine the appropriate response.

36. Delivery and Returns Timeframes

We aim to process customer enquiries promptly.

However, response times can vary depending on:

  • the complexity of the issue;
  • whether additional information is required;
  • courier investigations;
  • payment-provider enquiries;
  • product inspections;
  • stock availability;
  • weekends and public holidays; and
  • other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We will endeavour to keep customers informed where an investigation takes longer than expected.

37. No International Returns

Because Mushrooms-Australia provides delivery strictly within Australia, this policy does not provide for international returns.

All returns under this policy relate to orders delivered within Australia.

We do not accept international delivery or international return arrangements under this policy.

38. Australian Delivery Only — Summary

For clarity:

Mushrooms-Australia delivers within Australia only.

We do not currently offer:

  • international fulfilment;
  • delivery to overseas addresses; or
  • international return arrangements.

The delivery service covered by this policy is exclusively for eligible Australian destinations.

39. Delivery and Returns Exclusions

Nothing in this policy is intended to:

  • exclude Australian Consumer Law rights;
  • create a blanket “no refund” policy;
  • remove consumer guarantees;
  • mislead customers about their rights;
  • prevent customers from making legitimate complaints;
  • prevent customers from contacting a regulator; or
  • restrict rights that cannot legally be restricted.

Any provision that conflicts with a mandatory legal right will be applied only to the extent legally permitted.

40. Privacy During Returns

When processing a return, refund or delivery complaint, we may need to collect or use information such as:

  • name;
  • order number;
  • email address;
  • delivery address;
  • photographs;
  • product information;
  • transaction information; and
  • correspondence relating to the issue.

This information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We aim to collect and use only information reasonably necessary to manage the relevant customer-service matter.

41. Policy Changes

Mushrooms-Australia may update this Delivery & Returns Policy from time to time.

Updates may be required because of:

  • changes to our delivery arrangements;
  • changes to courier services;
  • changes to our product range;
  • changes to return procedures;
  • changes to payment systems;
  • changes in Australian law;
  • operational improvements;
  • customer feedback; or
  • other legitimate business reasons.

The current version will display the relevant “Last updated” date.

42. Six-Month Review

Mushrooms-Australia intends to review this Delivery & Returns Policy every six months.

Current policy date: 1 June 2026

Next scheduled review: 1 December 2026

Review frequency: Every six months

An earlier review may occur if there is a significant change to our delivery arrangements, returns process, product range, legal obligations or business operations.

43. Australian Consumer Law Notice

Mushrooms-Australia recognises that customers may have statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian law.

Where a major failure occurs, consumers may have rights including a refund, replacement, cancellation or compensation, depending on the circumstances.

Where a minor failure occurs, the appropriate remedy may include repair or replacement, subject to the circumstances and applicable law.

The ACCC confirms that consumer guarantees are automatic and cannot be removed by a business’s return policy or terms and conditions. (accc.gov.au)
